Internment Chapter 16- Firefly
Disclaimer: I don’t own Supernatural or the Were-Hunters. Eric Kripke owns Supernatural and Sherrilyn Kenyon owns the Were-Hunters. If I did own either, I’d be rich and happy. And I wouldn’t be writing stories about them, either! Rated M for gore, fights, language, and other stuff! I don’t own the chapter title either. It belongs to Breaking Benjamin. It’s one of their songs. :D
‘Aixa’s talking and Griffin’s projected thoughts and flashbacks’
“talking”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobby, who was the only human still awake, was trying his best to actually not fall asleep standing up. He wanted to know what was going on in his front yard.
“Bobby.” When Stasia said his name, Bobby jumped and gave the only female angel a questioning gaze.
“Go on to sleep. We will make sure nothing bad happens to you, Sam, Dean, Ava, Aixa, and your property. If you should trust anyone, it should be myself, Michael, Stephen, Cas, Gabe, Gwyn, Chandler, Griffin, and Balthazar. So, know that we’re protecting you and yours.” Stasia propositioned. “We’ll still be here tomorrow and one of us will tell you what happened when all of you wake.” Bobby nodded tiredly, then went up to bed.
The next morning- November 5, 2014
When Sam, Dean, Bobby, Ava, and Aixa woke up, they no9ticed all the new wardings around the house as they went down to the kitchen for breakfast. The appealing aroma of pancakes, coffee, and other breakfast items wafted up to them from downstairs, so the humans and wolf went down the stairs and into the kitchen with caution. Walking into the kitchen, the little half-asleep group was instantly more awake once they saw who was making them breakfast.
“What the hell are ya doin’ in here, boy?” Bobby questioned.
“What does it look like I’m doing, Bobby? I’m making everyone breakfast. You were sleeping and I didn’t want to wake you up. You don’t want to know how much the twins eat. They like their meat as rare as possible, but still cooked some. I saved some for you, too, Aixa.” Gabriel explained. The shorter man then got the plate, they somehow all missed it since it was near Gabriel, and laid it on the floor for Aixa. Aixa instantly went to the food and eagerly started to eat her fill.
Gabriel could see the nervousness on the humans’ faces, then said, “Relax. I didn’t do anything to them. Ask Griffin if you feel it’s necessary.”
“Where is everyone else, Gabriel? It’s really quiet in here.” Ava asked. Before the archangel could reply, a series of yips, yaps, barks, and whines was heard outside. Instantly running out, the six of them stopped short on Bobby’s porch, shocked at what was happening out in the snowy junkyard. Both Griffin and Raiden were wrestling in their wolf forms while the rest of the group bet on who would win.
When no one noticed- or didn’t really care- that Bobby, Gabriel, Ava, Aixa, Sam, and Dean were on the porch, Dean cleared his throat and demanded, “What the hell?! This is what happens when you all are left alone- without us and Gabriel- for a bit?! And by the way, Gabriel was finishing making breakfast for us when we heard you two.” After Dean had cleared his throat, the group outside jumped and turned to listen to what the human had to say.
“I would love to know what happened after we left for bed last night. Who’s with me?” Sam asked. Bobby, Dean, Ava, and Aixa nodded, so all of Team Free Will and their extras filed into Bobby’s house, finding places to sit in the living room. Gabriel had passed out the breakfast items to the humans when they sat down so they could eat and listen.
“Who’s going to start the story telling out of all of you dorks?” Ava asked nonchalantly.
Michael decided to pipe up with, “Well. After the five of you left, Bobby had started falling asleep. We had all noticed, of course, but Stasia decided to be the one to tell him to go to bed. When he left, the conversation started up again.” By this time in the retelling of last night, Griffin and Raiden had both changed back to their human forms.
-------------------------------------Flashback------------------------------------------
November 4th, 2014; 10:00 p.m.
‘Ok. Let’s start off by sitting down and one of you panthers will explain to us why your pack is here.’ Stephen demanded. Gwyn and Chandler both sighed, then looked at each other, debating.
Then, Chandler said, ‘Alright. We have a deal. On one condition, though.’
‘What’s your condition?’ Gabriel asked, cautious.
‘We have found a hunt some hours away in Calumet, Oklahoma. On our network system, a pack of Lynx Were-Hunters had posted some disturbing information. They just said something about people feeling cold spots and missing persons reports. Here is the information.’ Chandler produced the case information for the members of TFW that were still awake.
As Gabriel finished reading over the hunt info and passed it over to Michael and Stephen, he asked, ‘Can we talk about that tomorrow? If Sam, Dean, and Bobby say yes, we’ll do it.’ When the two panthers nodded, the angels, demons, and wolves sighed in relief.
Then, Chandler continued with, ‘Alright. As we said before, one of our members smelled Raiden and Griffin when all of you started to come out of the cars. Naturally, we had to confront your whole group. The weapons made the pack nervous, but my mate and I had to act fast, so that’s why I changed and started to explain why we had come here. I can’t reiterate how sorry I am that my archer shot the tall human. He will be punished.’
‘Whoa! Hold up there, Chandler! It’s okay! Shit happens! Don’t punish him just because of a slip!’ Stasia was always the one for concern.
‘He didn’t mean anything by it, I hope.’ There was Stephen with his optimism.
‘Maybe there’s a righteous prank for him?!’ Gabriel said, hopeful.
‘Dad! No pranks!’ Griffin chastised.
‘Fine.’ Gabriel pouted.
‘Sorry about him. You could talk to him about asking first, shooting later.’ Griffin finished.
‘Dude! That’s so weak! Punch him!’ Raiden countered.
‘Boys. Stop it. They should do what they feel is fit. He is in their pack.’ Michael reasoned.
‘I have to agree with you there, brother.’ Cas monotone.
‘Same for me, too.’ Lucifer stated, bored with the conversation already.
‘Where’s the rum?’ Balthazar wondered distractedly.
‘You never were good for important conversations, Balthazar. Moron. I agree with Michael, though, too.’ Raphael told them.
‘Do we have anything else to talk about?’ Zachariah intoned.
‘You’re insufferable, mate. I’d like to see some torture.’ Crowley inquired.
‘Uh, boss? I don’t think torture is good.’ Meg reasoned. Crowley just rolled his eyes at her.
‘Thank you all for your input. Out of all of your ideas, I think Michael is right. We will deal with Ridge how we see fit. Right, honey?’ Gwyn told them. When Chandler nodded to her question, Gwyn continued.
‘Ok. The other reason we came is because we were worried about Bobby. We knew Sam and Dean because of when their father brought them here. And also when they came here on their own.’ Understanding nods were enforced all around. After the lengthy conversation was over, the group went inside to either doze off or protect everyone else. Or, they just walked the perimeter, seeing if any predators were prowling around the territory.
----------------------------------End flashback------------------------------------
November 5, 2014, 8:16 a. m.
“That’s basically what happened last night.” Michael finished.
“Let me see the case information.” Bobby commanded. Chandler handed the folder over for Bobby, Sam, Dean, Ava, and Aixa to look at.
“Let’s get the gear and go, everyone. Sam and I will take Griffin, Gabriel, Ava, and Aixa with us. Anyone else wanting to come with us has to either run with us or fly there. Capiche?” Dean questioned. There was a chorus of “capiches” heard from everyone other than Bobby and the panthers. TFW knew Bobby had to man the phones- mostly so by Sam and Dean why he couldn’t come most of the time- and the panthers had to protect their territory. The members of Team Free Will going on the hunt- Sam, Dean, Griffin, Gabriel, Ava, Aixa, Michael, Stasia, and Castiel- were getting ready for their 10 hour and 7 minute- maybe less if Dean sped; a lot less for the angels if they flew- trip to Calumet, Oklahoma.

(AN: CLIFF HANGER! I’m so sorry! *hides again* I was up till around 2 in the morning finishing this chapter today. (On November 5 or 6, 2014.) I needed to stop the chapter because my hand was hurting and I’m tired as hell. The timeline for the story is actually made up times, but this year’s dates. As the year goes by in real life, so it goes in this story. Just different times of day/night. Calumet, Oklahoma is an ACTUAL town! I wanted to have them do an actual hunt somewhere, so I picked Oklahoma. Looked up the names of some towns for the state and chose Calumet. I’m VERY sorry that this was late! I had my other flash drive stolen, so I have to rewrite EVERYTHING. I’m lucky because I actually printed out every single chapter so now, I can just retype everything from there. Well, that’s enough of my rambling! Hope y’all liked it! Until next time, peeps! Later!)
(AN 2: P.S. I finished handwriting this chapter at 2:02 on the morning of November 6, 2014. So, I’m a day behind. Oh well! Next chapter is the hunt and them coming back around a week later. Later, peeps!)
Here's chapter 16 y'all! Sorry for the lateness of it! D:
