Idk which program you use, but you could just create a layer beneath the layer with the lines and put the color in there.
My other tip would be to add a Background or at eas a small shine around the Charakter.

Originality: Well... A gray werewolf.

Technique: It's not bad, but yet, the white stuff around the lines ^^'

Impact: Werewolves are dangerous and so this one looks exactly like he should look: Dangerous! So this is pretty well done. I think that there should be a link. Something around him that shows if he just killed a person or a specific look in his eyes or so.
